Savings Accounts (Share Accounts)

Assisting members in saving money and building their nest egg is one of the main purposes of our credit union.

• Our Primary Savings Account (Share Account) can be opened for $6.00. This entitles you to lifetime membership in the credit union and all accompanying benefits for as long as the account stays open. Even if you leave the organization, you would retain membership status with the credit union. These accounts are individually insured by the NCUA for up to $100,000
   
• Life Savings Insurance coverage is a life insurance benefit which is provided for you and is paid by the credit union. This insurance is based on the balances kept in your account over the years and the death benefit provided is up to $2,000.00
   
• Dividends are paid on a quarterly basis and our rates are exceptional in comparison to our competition. Dividends are computed daily. Payroll deduction makes it convenient and easy to save. You would be surprised at how fast your savings will grow. You may make deposits at any time in person, by mail, or electronically.
   
• Withdrawals from your savings account can easily be obtained by coming to the office, calling, or writing to request cash, check, or electronic transfer of funds.
